What is a Listing Presentation?
A "Listing Presentation" is an industry term for the formal presentation that a Realtor makes to prospective home sellers, trying to earn their trust and business. A thorough presentation consists of 3 essential parts. The Competitive Market Analysis (CMA) which ultimately gives the Realtor’s suggested listing price and expected sales price. The Seller’s Net Sheet which breaks down what the seller can expect to net after all selling expenses are taken into account. And finally the Marketing Plan which outlines how the Realtor will market the property for the maximum amount of money within the seller’s designated time frame. What is involved in a Listing Presentation?
First, we'll visit your home, and together we will walk through it, considering the positives and negatives (if any!) from your target buyer’s perspective. We’ll take extensive notes on the special features throughout your home. From the information gathered at this meeting, we will carefully compare it to other properties that have sold or will be competing with your property. With this information, we will develop a specific marketing program designed to sell your home for the most money within the time frame you choose. Finally, we’ll meet a second time and discuss our findings and answer all your questions pertaining to the selling process.
